it's been a while since i've done one of these!
there's still a lot i want to post that won't be in here, because the scanner at my dad's house is really tiny and the stuff not in here is just too big to bother to try and scan in pieces and such.
But yeah, here's some art!

A cover of sorts for arch_schattern's Vigil, which she posted at my journal entry before last. (aravis, i'm still working on yours):

The story is short and sweet, it's Bruce/Cass (from Cass's perspective) and, because I felt extra creative or something, the figures on the left side of the page that illustrate the concepts in the dialog boxes also spell "vigil" going down (but only if you squint really hard).
I love you all :)

i didn't even attempt to seriously draw one until i was about 14, haha
Spooky Bat made me laugh. :D
and spooky bat made me laugh, too. which made it really hard to color inside the lines :P
well, i do declare! you know how to flatter a girl!
thank you so much! and yeah, you have been away too long! (but then, so have i) i missed you!
*hugs*
I can't wait till your book from Image (my god, IMAGE!!! that's one fucking step away from DC and MARVEL!) comes out!
Edit: Teeny Dickie FTW! It's also dying to be iconized...

i love that icon of yours, btw, and if you wanna iconize dickie, you're more than welcome to as long as you gimmie credit, my dear :)
and yeah, i'm fucking ecstatic about this graphic novel project. it was so out of the blue, and just the kind of unrealistic too-good-to-be-true break i've been crossing my fingers for!
I love the Bruce/Cass drawing! man, the red shirts bleeding out are so cool, and the way she's looking after him.. so, so cool! I love Bruce's expression, too. And I think the writing on the side is an awesome detail! bwee! so cool! I'm glad you liked the story, and I love the drawing! :3
i wish i had the patience to sew, too. i actually asked for a sewing machine for christmas, so i'm gonna try to make a few of my designs...we'll see how it goes, lol
and i'm so happy you liked the vigil drawing! it was really easy for me to visualize, so ihad to draw it right away. it only took me about 45 minutes from start to finish cuz i had a really clear vision - a testament to your writing skill :)
Hee, Batman being deliberately spooky always makes me giggle.
And oh, the art for Vigil! Dang, that's lovely. The red sheets are so striking, and I agree with Mina, the layout and the words are striking and gorgeous. Yum!
